A fast-growing technology company dedicated to unlocking the full potential of batteries with intelligent software for all vehicle and battery manufacturers worldwide is currently looking to hire a Hardware in the Loop Test & Development Engineer. The successful candidate will help visualise the company’s future HiL Testing and Validation strategy. The Hardware in the Loop Test & Development Engineer will: * Support the future vision of HiL Rig set up and development to deliver the next generation of software validation. * Manage and maintain development vehicles and HiL rigs used for BMS testing. * Execute HiL tests to validate BMS functionality and performance under various conditions. * Support cell data analysis to understand capacity, efficiency, thermal characteristics, and degradation mechanisms. * Develop comprehensive test plans to ensure thorough testing of BMS and related systems. * Perform cell characterization tests to determine the performance and behaviour of battery cells. The Hardware in the Loop Test & Development Engineer will have: * Strong knowledge of battery systems, BMS, and HiL testing methodologies. * Experience setting up test automations in model based testing labs. * Experience of using Speedgoat/dSPACE hardware and toolchain. * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or a related field. * Experience in designing and implementing HIL test applications. * Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, writing test scripts, and generating test reports. * Experience of using Matlab Simulink toolchain.
