MotorMatch Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for a Group Parts Controller (Predominantly home based but will be required to carry out site visits and attend meetings upon request) MotorMatch Recruitment Ltd are seeking an experienced Group Parts Controller to join a fast growing, esteemed group of bodyshops. As the Group Parts Controller, you will be entrusted with the crucial responsibility of supporting the groups parts operation and other parts related activities. As the Group Parts Controller, you will be responsible for but not limited to: * Linking and source parts on behalf of the bodyshops, negotiating competitive prices where possible, to drive increased profit margins and streamline the ordering process * Provide support to the parts buying team, fostering a positive team environment and providing cover when required * Source rare or specific hard-to-find parts for repair jobs, minimising vehicle downtime * Build and foster strong relationships with suppliers, enhancing the group’s purchasing power and securing long-term partnerships * Track and maintain monthly parts performance, implementing new strategies to drive profitability * Supporting the Parts Director with ongoing operational tasks, keeping track of market research and potential opportunities * Overseeing and managing inventory levels across a number of sites within the group, to ensure stock availability while minimising excess inventory and associated costs * Ensure that all procured parts comply with relevant industry regulations As the Group Parts Controller, you will have: * Previous experience as a Parts Advisor / Controller * Knowledge of automotive parts * Knowledge of a Bodyshop Management System (Autoflow is preferred but not essential) * Strong buying and negotiation skills * Proficient IT, organisation and communication skills Schedule: * Monday to Friday: 8AM to 5PM * No weekends Benefits: * Holiday allowance: 22 days holiday, plus bank holidays * Workplace Pension * Health Insurance If you are interested in a confidential conversation regarding the above position, please apply for the role or give Simmy a call on: (phone number removed) MotorMatch LTD is advertising this vacancy in its capacity as an employment business.
