We are seeking skilled Grinding & Turning Team Members to join the manufacturing team for our well established client in Lincoln. In this temporary role, you will play a crucial part in operating grinding and turning machinery to produce precision components used in cutting-edge aerospace and automotive applications. This role is based on a Temporary Basis - which is ongoing with Guaranteed weekly hours These roles will be on a 2 shift rotation pattern A shift - Monday - Thursday - 6am - 13.35pm and Friday 6am - 12.45pm B Shift (20% Premium) Monday - Thursday 13.25pm - 21.05pm and Friday 12.35pm - 19.00pm Hourly rates for these roles vary depending on experience starting from £11.79 - £15.31 - This will be discussed at Interview Your Time at Work Operate manual and track grinding machines to produce high-precision metal components. Set up and calibrate machinery for different production runs, ensuring specifications are met. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet the required quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Document production activities, including completed work, machine maintenance, and any quality control issues. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and troubleshoot issues. Our Perfect Worker Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with manual and track grinding machines or lathes, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality. If you have a background in machining, engineering, or metalwork, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! We are willing to seek and speak to applicants with minimal experience in the above. With a background in manufacturing/production, though this is NOT essential.
