Duties and Responsibilities: Check components received from external suppliers against pre-determined inspection plan(s) Use reporting system to ensure parts are inspected in First in First Out (FIFO) Work closely with Supplier Quality Assurance. Use system to transfer stock from inspection. Use lifting equipment (Zero G-Lift and Pedestrian Stacker). Involvement in Process Improvement initiatives. 5s and cleanliness control within stores and inspection areas. This role will require the successful applicant to work a weekly shift pattern (normally 6am to 2:15pm and 2:30pm to 10:45pm). Candidates Skills & Experience Essential: Proven ability to read complex drawings Quality Control and Goods Inwards Inspection experience Experienced user of Metrology Equipment: Internal and External Micrometres Thread Gauges Slip Gauges Vernier Callipers/Height Gauges Good communication and team working skills. Good IT literacy including use of Microsoft Excel/MRPDesirable: Experience of working in a warehouse environment. Experience with cast, machined and plastic parts. Previous user of lifting equipment Certification of lifter equipment training Ability to operate CMM equipment
