Gearbox Mechanic required. My client is a long-established specialist of Automatic gearboxes based in Hertfordshire that is now looking to hire a new Gearbox Mechanic. The ideal candidate will come from an Automotive maintenance background, be proficient in working on a range of Automatic boxes (CVT, DSG, etc.) and will be based within a commutable distance of March. Gearbox Mechanic Position Overview Stripping Automatic gearboxes from a range of vehicles Tearing down transmissions and finding faults Undertaking repair / remedial works Performing testing on repaired components to ensure viability Fitting components into a range of vehicles Gearbox Mechanic Position Requirements Previous experience in a Mechanical maintenance position Strong Automotive fitting / repair experience Strong experience working on DSG, CTV or Automatic gearboxes & transmissions Competent in the disassembly, fault finding, repair and fitting of Automotive components Must own your own tools Based within a commutable distance of March Gearbox Mechanic Position Remuneration Salary £30,000 - £35,000 DOE Monday - Friday 8:00 - 17:30 28 Days holiday inclusive of bank holidays Pension Bennett & Game Recruitment are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
