Forging Operative Redditch £14.00 per hour 12 hour shifts over 4 days, Full time (06:00am - 18:00pm) Permanent Immediate start Requirement for an experienced Forging Operative to join a successful, Redditch-based Manufacturer. The position will require the successful candidate to be an integral part of the Precision department with the responsibility of producing high-precision parts for large aerospace customers across the UK. Working within a heavy forging / Aerospace environment. Responsibilities include: -Glass coating of titanium billets and forgings using automated glass coating line -Cleaning of fixtures/machines as required -Quality control of glass solution (thickness, viscosity etc.) -Inspection of parts. Must be able to work on own initiative. -Ensure route cards and relevant quality documentation is correct and up to date -Perform other ad hoc duties as required. -Experience of working in a forge environment advantageous but not essential.
