Job Overview: We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical and project support to a specialist heavy machinery company, covering the midlands area. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge within the heavy vehicle / machinery industry, the ability to resolve issues independently, and experience working in a face-to-face field service / mobile technician role in the past. Qualifications & Experience: * Recognized apprenticeship, City & Guilds, or equivalent experience (minimum 4 years) within heavy machinery / vehicle maintenance & repair. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. * Solid hands-on background working in HGV / heavy machinery repair & maintenance, with proven problem-solving skills. * Experience in a similar mobile / field service technician position. Open and willing to travel to various locations around the midlands. Skills & Attributes: * Strong communication and time management skills. * Ability to read technical drawings and handle SBC programming. * Proactive approach to continuous improvement. Hours / Package: * Flexible start and finish times, bewteen 07:30 - 17:30 (40 hrs /week) * Salary up to £37,440pa + overtime and all travel expenses paid
