Control and Instrumentation Field Sales Engineer - North Yorkshire based (32230) Location: North Yorkshire  Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 based on experience + bonus structure + commission structure including company car Hours: Flexible working hours Permanent Job Overview: Developing sales with Companies full portfolio of Field Instrumentation, Added Value Services and Automation Solutions across multi discipline technology including Temperature, Flow, Pressure and Level. It is a Field Based role, to cover accounts across process industries including aerospace, food, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas etc Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under general supervision, the Area Sales Engineer works with representatives, distributors, value-added resellers, and direct accounts to achieve respective financial goals established as part of our clients overall sales plan. The Area Field Sales Engineer must be willing and able to directly sell, promote and service all products in the clients portfolio within the defined region.   Specific duties include, but are not limited to the following: Work with direct customers to maximize sales of products and services in region of focus Identify and develop new sales channel opportunities Manage sales channel conflicts Work with existing accounts and develop new accounts and relationships to grow sales. Take leadership role in major customer agreements and sales opportunities Provide regular sales forecasts for the region of focus Track and report project sales opportunities and interface with others on project pursuits. Visit and Service Customers and assist in bidding large projects Recommend, recruit, and manage day-to-day opportunities of internal sales channels. Document day-to-day customer communications in company-wide CRM. Provide sales feedback to marketing on competitive information, required product(s), features, and new market opportunities. Work with marketing to regionally promote new and existing products to maximizesales Experience: Required: selling into the process industries, selling Control Instrumentation and Automation products, an appreciation of measurement techniques & communication protocols. Favoured: Endress + Hauser product knowledge, Eurotherm product knowledge, Automation products,selling Calibration or inspection services. Salary: Excellent Base salary of up to £45k + bonus structure + commission structure including company car, mobile phone, Healthcare and tablet computer.
