BBS Fleet Logistics have a vacancy for - Fast Fit Mechanic / Vehicle inspector £26,000-£30,000 (£12.50 -£14.50 per hour) Milton Ernest Bedford Full Time Progression opportunities, and pension scheme. BBS has spent years helping countless businesses control vehicle costs and ensure the safety of drivers by assisting with the re-homing, refurbishment and new user acceptance of fleet vehicles, from cars to light commercial vehicles. The key duties of the position are as follows; ● Inspection repair and testing of Fleet Vehicles ● Reading and understanding Mechanical job cards and manufacturer methods ● Effect necessary Service and Mechanical repairs and adjustments as required. ● Working closely with the Senior Vehicle Inspector and Workshop Manager ● Acting on the requirements of a job in a safe manner. For this position we’re looking for someone who has; ● Certification to NVQ Level 3 ● An understanding of Diagnostics, Code Reading, and A.D.A.S. calibration (desirable) ● A grounding in Mechanical and Inspection skills gained through apprenticeship or practical experience. ● Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a Fast Fit or Dealer environment. ● Basic working knowledge of Hybrid and Electric vehicles Benefits; ● Training provided ● 20 days annual leave ● Pension Scheme ● Free parking ● Overtime and Bonus
