Purpose of a Facilities Maintenance Engineer The successful candidate will report to the HSEF Manager and will be responsible for providing daily maintenance of facility. Key Responsibilities * Comply with site safety procedures and requirements * Demonstrate good knowledge of site Safety * Perform general site maintenance and liaise with contractors to ensure high standards of work and on time delivery * Have a good understanding of Health & Safety/risk assessments, method statements & permits to work * Provide maintenance support required for production and emergency callouts * Have some understanding of engineering systems e.g. heating, ventilation, plumbing etc * To carry out General site maintenance * Plumbing and joinery repairs * Production and office support * Implementation of the visual factory / 5s Implementation * General duties * Environmental response and improvements * Site inspections and checks * Maintenance of grounds * Assist and Mmanage the Facilities Helpdesk tickets relating to maintenance and repair tasks. * Conduct company vehicle checks This is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. The successful job holder will be expected to perform varying tasks as required by their line manager & the overall objectives of the organisation.
