The role holder: Reporting to the F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Manager the post holder will be undertaking a range of maintenance activities on aircraft or aircraft components. The post holder requires a basic understanding of the construct of the approved Technical Information set and is competent to work to maintenance instructions with support and in accordance with the organisation’s MOE. F-35 UK Sustainment Mechanic Would you like to work within an interesting and challenging role, supporting Royal Air Force? We currently have a vacancy for an F-35 UK Sustainment Mechanic at our site in RAF Marham. As an F-35 UK Sustainment Mechanic, you will be undertaking a range of maintenance activities on aircraft or aircraft components. This role will provide you with varied experience across the F35 aircraft on our RAF Marham site working 4 days a week. Your main responsibilities as an F-35 UK Sustainment Mechanic will involve: The post holder requires a basic understanding of the construct of the approved Technical Information set and is competent to work to maintenance instructions with support and in accordance with the organisation’s MOE. This is not a self-tasking role the day begins with safety briefings & the plan of the day. You will then following working instructions from team leader before going & carrying out the tasks that have been allocated Your skills and qualifications: Essential: • A logbook demonstrating breadth of experience, currency & recency of skills, knowledge, and authorities for working on Aircraft type or in component bays • 2 years’ experience of working within and the practical application of EASA/MRP Part 145 Desirable: • Experience of working on complex military aircraft programmes What we are looking for in you: The post holder will demonstrate the ability to follow approved Technical Information and work effectively within a team, in a diverse and dynamic operational environment.
