Position Title: Exterior Project Engineer Duration: 34 Weeks Location: Surrey Essential Criteria: 5+ years of automotive engineering experience 2+ years of automotive project engineering experience in Exterior Systems Knowledge of composite and/or carbon fibre panels Knowledge of bumper systems, grilles, exterior injection moulded parts etc Low volume vehicle experience Supplier interface experience Automotive project life cycle / process / timing experience DVP and test experience (virtual and physical) Knowledge of typical automotive requirements and test deck. Including safety standards. Strong leadership of a team of high performance engineering teams including coordinating design reviews and following up on actions. Self-motivated to deliver excellence and excellent communicator. Comfortable with senior level report out cadence and delivery against defined set of KPIs Literate with CAD viewing / visualisation software packages Nice to Have Criteria: Experience in high value low volume composite sports car design and engineering. Strong DFMEA knowledge and experience Releasing, BOM, Change Control and DFM experience CATIA V5 literate Teamcentre Experience PPAP delivery experience. Additional Information: Joining an existing established Contechs team. Likely to be extended. 3 days on site is a must
