Export Operator Liverpool, City Centre £27,000 - £30,000 Monday – Friday, 09:00-17:00 I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Export Operator to join a UK freight forwarding business who specialise in customs clearance and distribution across the globe. They are seeking an Export Operator to join their multi model operation with a focus on deep sea Exports. Knowledge with Export procedures / processes is essential. Experience of using freight forwarding systems Proven experience of rate negotiation with both clients and third parties DG experience preferred but not essential. Strong commercials skills and business acumen are necessary. Results driven with a consistent approach with the ability to inspire and motivate. Must have a ‘can do’ attitude. Presentable, polite and demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Competent decision making Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Duties and Responsibilities; Process bookings from customer by phone/email. Completing export customs on Chief/CDS Book transport with hauliers and build relationships with set of your won hauliers. Handle the coordination of freight (Road, Air or Ocean) Handle all operational aspects of export file management. Liaise with third party hauliers for planning any additional capacity. Produce a range of freight documentation including DGN's and bills of lading. Raising Chamber of Commerce documents Build and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external clients. Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure that expectations are met during the movement of cargo.
