Job Title Experienced Fleet Vehicle Technician Location Coventry Hours Mon to Thurs 2.30pm to 11.00pm Friday 11am to 4pm Immediate Start 3 Month Contract – possibility of extension HancoxRead Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Fleet Technician on behalf of their client based in Coventry. Purpose of the Role Carry out the service, repair and maintenance of vehicles, plant and equipment in accordance with legislative and health and safety requirements, planned inspection schedule, and agreed procedures and targets. Main Duties and Responsibilities * To maintain, service and repair all types of vehicles, plant, and equipment (including those located away from the main workshop). * Undertake periodic safety inspections of all vehicles and plant held or serviced * Carry out MOT and/or Taxi inspections * Provide Roadside assistance to broken down vehicles, including recovery to workshop * Undertake fault diagnosis * Undertake general fleet electrical work * Carry out welding, fabrication and minor body repairs on vehicles and plant Required Qualifications & Experience * City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 and/or 2 in Vehicle Maintenance * Full UK Driving Licence – Category C LGV & Car * Experience in general hydraulic, electrical and welding repairs * Extensive experience in fleet service, repair and maintenance including plant and large commercial vehicles * Repair and maintenance of car, light vehicles * Working knowledge of hydraulic systems on LGV/HGV vehicles and grounds care equipment For more information contact Helen at HancoxRead Recruitment
