We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electric Vehicle (EV) Project Manager to join our team. As the EV Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of electric vehicle projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of electric vehicle technology, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop project plans outlining scope, objectives, time lines, and resources required for successful project execution. Create detailed project schedules and milestones to track progress and ensure timely delivery. Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project time lines or quality. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering teams to define project requirements, specifications, and technical constraints. Work closely with design teams to ensure alignment with product design and user experience goals. Coordinate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure availability of components and materials for production. Budget Management: Develop project budgets and monitor expenditures throughout the project life cycle. Identify opportunities for cost optimisation without compromising project objectives or quality standards. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders including senior management, customers, and external partners. Facilitate regular project meetings to review progress, address issues, and drive decision-making. Quality Assurance: Establish quality assurance processes and standards to ensure that deliverable meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular quality reviews and inspections to identify and resolve issues early in the project life cycle. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies. Capture lessons learned from completed projects to inform future project planning and execution. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in project management are a plus. Proven experience managing complex projects in the electric vehicle or automotive industry. Strong understanding of electric vehicle technology, including battery systems, power train components, and charging infrastructure. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project.
