Planner/Estimator Engineer - Interpret Drawings, Cost, Estimate, Delivery, Machining, Aerospace, Planning, Toolroom - Permanent - Yate (Bristol/Gloucestershire) My client is looking to hire for a Planner/Estimator who has direct experience as an engineer who can he read engineering drawings. The job will involve breaking down the customer drawings into component parts, costing them up (utilising your knowledge of how CNC machines and manual machines work to estimate the time it will take to do the job) and then plan how the job will go through the shop. You will also be liaising with customers and suppliers, providing solutions to their technical queries and seek out further suppliers to achieve the best value for money and time incentives. The successful candidate will have: * Direct experience working as part of a team * Experience of working to deadlines (as a Planner, Estimator or Engineer) * Recognised engineering trade qualification required * Experience of using an ERP system an advantage * Purchasing also an advantage If you are interested in this opportunity, the role will also have the capability to train in you various divisions across the organisation and provide you with further expertise in the Aerospace Industry
