On behalf of our client, a leading aerospace manufacturing business in Manchester we are recruiting a skilled and meticulous Estimator to join their ever-growing team. If you have a knack for precision and a solid background in estimating within the manufacturing sector, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, treatments, finished projects, and more. * Consider various factors including labour and overhead costs to ensure accurate project pricing. * Read and understand technical drawings, liaising with engineering teams to ensure correct interpretation where necessary. * Evaluate quotes from various suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. * Liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution. Skills and Experience: * Solid understanding of the manufacturing industry. * Knowledge of supply chains, including materials, treatments, etc. * Proficient in Microsoft Excel. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
