A global automotive component manufacturer requires a Maintenance & Engineering Manager to provide managerial support for the engineering and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive manufacturing and be a multi skilled time serviced Engineer. Commutable from: St Helens, Warrington, Halewood, Liverpool, Prescot, Knowsley, Widnes Salary: £63,000 - £65,000 p.a. Suitable for: Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, Senior Maintenance Engineer, Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Maintenance Team Leader The Role Reporting into the Launch Engineering Manager you will have the following duties: -Direct line management of the Manufacturing Engineers and Maintenance Team. -Supporting the site development and launch. -Developing the capital plan supporting latest technology advances in assembly. -Developing cost effective service plans for the plant. The Person Educated to a minimum of HND or degree level as a time served multi-skilled engineer you will have the following experience: -Proven experience in engineering preferably in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. -Experience in managing and delivering significant CAPEX projects. -Experience in leading a team of Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineers.
