ATA are supporting a large engineering group in their search for an experienced engineering manager to join their established site in the Coleshill region. The group turnover north of £400million and have a fantastic reputation within their market and is responsible for manufacturing some of UKs most recognisable brands of which have become a staple part of the British construction market. This site in the West Midlands is one of the most established within the group and is a very important cog in the company wheel & one of the few sites in the UK to produce this product. About the role As an engineering manager you will be responsible for the following: -        Day to day management of an industrial manufacturing site. -         Full accountability of maintenance team including, maintenance planner shift electricians, maintenance fitters. -         Managing CAPEX Projects from birth through to completion, including having budgetary control. -         Budget control & management of the P&L -         Managing the sites continuous improvement and root cause analysis projects. -        Driving a positive work culture & delivering best practice strategies -        Recruitment, 1-2-1’s, Appraisals, Disciplinaries, Training & Development. -        Managing H&S, Duty holder responsibility, Legionella, compliance, auditing. -        Ensure all Engineers adhere to H&S Policies and Safe Working Practices. About you Due to the nature of the site, our client is looking for an engineer manager who has a passion for making a difference, an interest in change management and someone who has a strong personality with conviction in their decision making. -            Experience managing a team of maintenance engineers. -            Experience managing engineering budgets. -            Experience leading LEAN, root cause and CI task. -            Strong health and safety knowledge. -            Our client is open to any industry within a factory maintenance environment.
