This will be a permanent role based at our clients site in Stratford-on-Avon. Responsibilities of the Engine Development Engineer include: Supporting engine programme timing, cost and quality across all engine projects. Managing component and system targets whilst creating and maintaining test procedures and DVP. Analysing and interpreting physical test results to correlate simulation and validate design functions. Optimising current test procedure and data analysis tools. Working with various team to ensure reliable test results and engine performance. Background, skills and experience required for the Engine Development Engineer role: Degree level educated within a related Mechanical Engineering discipline. Experienced within hands-on engine/transmission and driveline testing and development roles. Prior experience working within an Automotive OEM environment. Prior demonstration of testing budgets and timing management plus experience within dyno and vehicle validation procedures.
