My busy international clients are currently seeking a highly experienced and trained Electron Beam Weld Operator for their large modern facility in Nottinghamshire. Essential Requirement: * Time-served Apprenticeship Trained with proof of qualification / certification. Ideal candidates competencies: * Automated electron beam welding, as well as core manual tig welding in a high-volume manufacturing cell * Has a professional and flexible attitude, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels. * Is self-motivated, with the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team. * Has understanding of how to maintain a clean and safe environment in the workplace and how to work to set deadlines to achieve performance targets. * Has up-to-date working knowledge of health, safety (including COSHH) and environmental procedures. Hours of work: The machining area operates Monday to Friday on a 3 shift pattern: * Mornings (06:00 - 14:12) * Afters (13:48 - 21:30 with a Friday 19:00 finish) * Nights (21:00 - 06:15, 4 shifts Mo-Th) Contract to cover 38 hours per week, Temp to Perm for the right candidate after initial qualifying period.
