Position Description: The Electrical Engineer supports the UK Electrical Engineering team with specific projects, helping to shape the future of our Client’s product portfolio. A key part of the role is to support the EE components development and testing activities. Key Responsibilities: Represent the electrical design team and PD departmental meetings. Deliver technical and testing support for electrical components on multiple motorcycle development programmes. Understand and preparation of EE system layout & schematic circuits. Design and implement electrical systems/ components for new and updated motorcycles. Preparation of 2D engineering drawings for electrical components. Understand and preparation of 3D CAD models to derive packaging for electrical components. Follow up and maintain design, operational and quality procedures. Produce supporting documentation and packaging layouts for electrical systems as required example: Circuit diagrams for service manuals, TDL’s. Liaise with internal departments such as Vehicle development, Testing, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Quality. Liaise with outside suppliers. Experience Required: Strong knowledge in fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics. Knowledge in electrical testing - Experience in Electrical components validation. Experience in Failure simulation and root cause analysis. Knowledge in DVP preparation. Experience in electrical test rigs and instrumentation. Two-wheeler electrical testing experience-Preferable. Good communication skills. Skills Required: Electrical circuits & Electronics. Engineering Documentation. Failure analysis techniques. IOT. Product understanding.
