This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects with a range of clients. Your initial placement will be with a prestigious Aerospace OEM in the South West.   Job Description   The successful candidate will be responsible for: Expertise in 3D harness design, electrical schematics, and block diagrams. Designing and integrating electrical systems to ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and customer requirements. Generating 2D/3D electrical installation and systems designs using CATIA V5 and PLM software. Participating in design reviews throughout each phase of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process. Communicating effectively and professionally with customers, suppliers, and OEMs. Ensuring the successful integration of each design element within the product. Participating in the validation of the product using methods such as prototyping and testing. Following and contributing to the development of best practice guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience in aircraft or automotive interiors is required. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred. Alternatively, an HNC/HND or an equivalent qualification as part of an electrical apprenticeship. Experience with 3D CAD and AutoCAD electrical software packages or equivalent. Familiarity with the effective application of tolerances and a working knowledge of manufacturing processes and OEM installation requirements. Ability to read design drawings and specifications. Understanding of aerospace quality processes and governance.
