Electrical Design Engineer, up to £40k DOE, Permanent, Near Honiton, Mon – Fri 40 Hours, excellent benefits package. Due to rapid expansion we have an opportunity for a Electrical Design Engineer to work within a team of 12 at a world leader in the design and building of off-road vehicles. As a Electrical Design Engineer you will have a good base understanding of mechanical and automotive engineering and related design principals and the ability to use that knowledge to produce innovative mechanical designs centred on functionality, simplicity and economy Produce circuit diagrams and schematics.  Component and assembly design from concept to production in an automotive environment using CAD. Maintain accurate design records and maintain drawing issue control using the PDM system. Work with Senior Engineers, Project Engineers and other team members to provide the best design outcomes for stakeholders across the business and Liaise with suppliers in order to source new components. Electrical Design Engineer you will have proven capability of creating detailed 3D models and accurate engineering drawings of components and assemblies., Be able to produce detailed reports and communicate effectively in a timely manner, as an Electrical Design Engineer you will have proven experience of working in a designer role. and a minimum of HNC qualification in Electrical Engineering, knowledge of Automotive electrics (12 and 24v) and will need to be prepared to undertake a DBS / Security clearance.
