Info about the company A well-established enterprise offering a comprehensive range of engineering services, in collaboration with businesses to enhance facilities management, serving clients across various industries including food & beverage, brewing, pharmaceuticals, and chemical, are seeking an Electrical Contracts Manager on a permanent basis. Info about what the role entails The successful candidate will be responsible for act as the link between customer and the delivery of physical and technical elements of the projects you work upon. Your primary focus will be working closely with our in-house Engineering team to provide the detailed day-to-day management and logistical aspects associated with our on-site Electrical project team. Some of the key responsibilities include: * Participate in scheduled project progress and design review meetings as needed. * Contribute to project planning efforts and monitor progress. * Generate Bill of Materials based on drawings for estimation and procurement purposes. * Conduct site surveys to support costing or design processes. * Play a role in cost reduction and value engineering when necessary for projects. * Handle material orders, oversee a small team of electricians, complete timesheets, perform HSE audits, conduct accident investigations, and suggest corrective actions as required.
