Seat Development Trimmer Location: Gaydon Contract: Long-term (Inside IR35) Hours: 40 hours per week Pay: In the region of £28.00 per hour (PAYE) dependant on experience. Role Responsibilities; Full development, patterning, trimming, finishing and flitting. Assess and understand Seat functionality (airbags, climate etc). Continuous development of a product from early design to production intent. Machine Sewing, covering assembly and decorative stitch and development stitching. Hand sewing (baseball, euro stitch) would be ideal. Modification and development of seat foams (material on and off) Working with a wide range of natural and synthetic soft materials (leather, PVCs etc). CAD understanding, being able to highlight potential trim issues on screen. Flexibility in working hours as per business needs. WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week Day Shift: 7.30 – 16.00pm (30min unpaid break) PAY RATE: IRO £28.00 per hour PAYE uplifted to £37.61 per hour to be paid via Umbrella PAYE model. Please note: this position is deemed INSIDE IR35, the final payrate offered will be determined by the employer following successful interview and will be inclusive of Assignment Rate, Holiday Pay and Apex Recruitments contribution towards Employer Social Costs CONTRACT TYPE: This role is offered on an ongoing contract basis, with a long-term commitment until March 2026 prior to further extensions.
