Hybrid Recruit are seeking a Depot Assistant to work for a busy Hire Depot based in Normanton. An opportunity has arisen for a focused and passionate person to become part of a dynamic team at our Normanton depot as a Depot Assistant. You will support the Operation Manager and Depot with all day-to-day administrative tasks. Responsibilities of the Depot Assistant: * Raising and assigning inspections and services. Accordingly, closing down completed inspections and services once completed on the internal system. * Allocation of all fleet numbers onto Syrinx and recording weekly vehicle mileages. * Plan and execute the most cost-effective delivery and collection, relocation and exchange of all products. * Monitor towing vehicle age and mileage and ensure all servicing is carried out as per the manufacturer’s guidelines. * Booking electrical test inspections and filing of completed certificates. * Liaise with HO to ensure all MOTs, services and repairs are planned in collated and recorded * Submit jot form requests for external transport and parts * PDI final inspection sign off * Updating stock sheets in real time and preparing off hire inspection forms * Liaising with the Yard Foreman for changings to hire bookings. Requirements of the Depot Assistant: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * A professional and polite telephone manner * Logistics and planning experience * The ability and confidence to deputise for the Depot Manager in their absence * Previous experience of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment * Great attention to detail and accuracy * The ability to work within a wider team * The ability to work effectively under pressure with limited supervision * Effective level of IT literacy including Excel, Word, and Outlook * Previous experience in the plant hire industry is desirable In return, the Depot Assistant will receive: * Salary: £26,000 / Annum * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays PA * Birthday off * Life Insurance (2x annual salary) * Company Referral Scheme * Long Service Award * Company Pension scheme * Healthcare cash plan Should you be interested in this Depot Assistant vacancy, please APPLY NOW with an up to date CV
