Our equipment serves as a warning system against potential damage to users' eyes and optics, and we're dedicated to becoming global leaders in mitigating laser threats through operational advantages. The Role: We seek a dynamic and results-driven Defence Sales Lead responsible for driving organizational growth in the defence market. This role involves identifying, sourcing, and supporting new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with key defence stakeholders, and contributing to the overall strategic objectives. Additionally, this role will lead product demonstrations for defence customers, including those overseas. Responsibilities: Develop and manage relationships with defence customers, from soldiers to commanders and procurement project managers. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends and potential areas for business growth. Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to stay updated on industry trends. Generate new business leads through various channels, including networking. Qualify leads and assess potential successful partnerships. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Close deals and negotiate contracts. Identify and establish partnerships to expand market reach. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote products or services. Provide regular reports on business development activities and key performance indicators. Qualifications: None specifically required; attitude outweighs qualifications for this role. Skills and Experience: Technical knowledge and experience in defence optics, surveillance, sniper technology, ISTAR, night vision, etc. Understanding of defence customers’ needs and drives. Hands-on experience using optics in a defence environment. Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Ability to use business IT systems and software. Articulate with good customer-facing communication skills. Analytical with attention to detail. Organized with task management skills. Ability to obtain and hold UK SC Clearance as a minimum.
