We are partnered with a reputable global consultancy that are looking for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to work on a very exciting LONG-TERM CONTRACT in the automotive sector. Role: Intelligence Analyst Rate: Up to £750 per day (inside IR35) Location: United Kingdom Style: Hybrid Duration: 6 months (initially – view to extend) Key Responsibilities: * Produce clear and concise threat intelligence reports at the operational and tactical levels; with good analytical capability to key stakeholders to support evidence-based decision making. * The postholder will utilise threat intelligence tooling and open-source tools to help produce intelligence documents such as Daily Horizon Scanning, Threat Actor Profiles, Threat Hunting Intelligence Reports, and Monthly Reports. * Undertake research work to support Annual Strategic Threat Assessments, Country Threat Assessments, and Country Profiles. * Write Intelligence-Led Threat Hunting reports containing Indicators of Compromise, and Indicators of Attack, as well as Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures. * Help maintain the TI’s Intelligence Database Fabric, to ensure it is efficient and effective in meeting expectations of the federated areas business wide. * Support the Corporate Security & Incident Management Team with intelligence request during real time investigations. * Ensure that all Request for Information (RFI) forms that come into the TI inbox have been actioned. * Maintain and keep up-to-date TI Watchlist or Seed Data. * Triage on a daily basis alerts received from Third Party Intelligence Vendors to ensure that all potential issues are captured and reported accordingly. * Stay current of industry best practice in relation to intelligence and security. * Identify trends, potential new technologies, and emerging threats, which may impact the business. * The postholder will perform other intelligence and security related tasks as and when required. Key Skills: * Demonstrate operational knowledge of the Intelligence Cycle. * Knowledge of developing premises and building inferences. * Experienced in producing Threat Assessments at the Operational, and Tactical levels; and also being able to present to variety of audiences. * Experienced in undertaking advanced OSINT searches to combine with Closed-source material to produce timely intelligence reports on weekly and monthly basis. * Experienced in producing Subject, Organisational, and Country Profiles. * Experience and skills in research and using different analytical techniques to produce intelligence reports. * Experienced in supporting ongoing investigations by helping fill intelligence gaps and making investigative work intelligence led. * From a threat perspective is able to anticipate and predict long term national and international developments impact on JLR’s global activities using the PESTELO factors. * Must be dedicated, organised, inquisitive, analytical, and a tactical thinker, who is bold at building inferences from developed premises. * Have a detailed working knowledge of I.T softwares including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Demonstrate knowledge of Intelligence Mapping Models, for instance using i2. * Ability to work with limited supervision, prioritising own workload and the workload of others to help meet and shape strategic timelines and deadlines for delivery. * Posses Intelligence Analysis Professional qualification (RISC, or equivalent) * Experienced in undertaken Police and/or Government Intelligence work but also with corporate world knowledge. * OSINT training qualification * Able to maintain knowledge of current best practices and developing areas of academia around analysis.
