Job Title: Cutter Grinder Day Rate: £251 (Umbrella) Location: Brixworth, Northampton Start Date: April 2026 Duration: 8x Months Pattern: Full Time, Onsite Role Overview We are currently seeking experienced Cutter Grinders to support a busy and highly skilled manufacturing team on a long-term contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced Walter grinding technology in a precision motorsport engineering environment, with strong visibility and continuity through to the end of 2026. The successful candidates will work within a specialist tool grinding environment, supporting the manufacture and inspection of precision cutting tools. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Walter grinding platforms, including both online and offline programming capability. Key Equipment & Technology: * 2 × Walter Helitronic Grinders * Manual wheel change * Running Helitronic ToolStudio 3 * 1 × Walter Helicheck Advanced (inspection) * 1 × Offline Programming Seat * Running Helitronic ToolStudio 2 Key Skills & Experience: * Proven experience as a Cutter Grinder / Tool Grinder * Strong hands-on capability with Walter Helitronic grinding machines * Experience using Helitronic ToolStudio (online and/or offline programming) * Understanding of tool inspection processes (Helicheck experience advantageous) * Ability to work to tight tolerances and quality standards * Comfortable working independently within a structured production environment
