Customer Logistics Manager Oxfordshire Monday to Friday 08:30am – 17:00pm £14.24 per hour Customer Logistics Manager The Recruitment Group is working with a global pioneer in the aerospace industry. They are the leader in designing, manufacturing, and delivering aerospace products, services and solutions to customers on a worldwide scale. We are looking for a highly reliable and experienced Customer Logistics Manager to join the team. Main duties and responsibilities of the Customer Logistics Manager role: • To provide necessary support to senior Management in pursuance of overall Divisional and Company targets. •  To develop maintain and improve successful relationships with the Supply Chain Partners and Customer. • Develop and maintain a teamwork approach to working with colleagues. • Demonstrate appropriate Commercial awareness in all business activities ensuring that AH UK's commercial position is adequately safeguarded at all times. • Recognise potential new business opportunities and highlight such potential opportunities to Senior Management. • Ensure authorisation of business transactions, customer quotations, purchase orders and charging instructions within Company Policy and deadlines. • Act as a focal point for all supplier / customer enquiries and to attend appropriate meetings as necessary. • To identify and resolve issues of a problematic nature at onset where possible through discussion / negotiation with the supplier / customer base. • To ensure that customers are fully aware of any supply issues which may compromise production. • To ensure   the application of SAP AiO & EC2 consistent with the training received and all work instructions within your possession. • To maintain departmental administrative systems and provide accurate documentation in order that support functions can operate efficiently i.e. cost file maintenance, product description database, invoice queries. • To support and promote continuous improvement programmes. • Achieve set targets and objectives. • Ensure compliance with procurement, competition law and other legislative requirements. • To provide regular reports on progress of investigations and work in progress to the Segment Manager. Experience/knowledge requirements for the Customer Logistics Manager role:   • Graduate calibre professional. • Minimum 2 years relevant supply chain experience. • Strong communication, organisation, persuasion, influencing and decision making skills. • Ability to work on own initiative. • Good analytical and numerical skills. • Positive, self motivated, enthusiastic and flexible. • Experience of MRP systems. • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint • Full UK Driving License Please contact Emma @ The Recruitment Group on (phone number removed)
