Our global motorcycle manufacturing client is urgently looking to fill the following role: Custom Motorcycle Build Specialist (Europe & Americas) - Circa £50k p.a. + Benefits - Hybrid / Leicestershire Job Requirement Please note that there is a requirement to work weekends with this role in the Racing Season and travel is required. Our global motorcycle manufacturing client has a number of new model launches over the coming months / years which will see an increasing presence at motorcycle events around the world, growing their programs exponentially. Responsibilities: As the Custom Build Specialist, you will be accountable for the end-to-end management of Custom Build Projects and events. Reporting to the Head of Custom, your role is critical to the delivery of the Custom Build strategy and ensuring all Custom related activities are representative of the client and the brand and are of the highest quality. The results of these activities will promote outstanding brand perception around the world, building on their reputation as a canvas for personalisation, as well as providing critical feedback on future design directions. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Managing the output of content relating to Custom Builds and events - Overseeing the management of retail assets, liaising with associated departments and external suppliers as necessary, ensuring all assets are tracked and recorded appropriately - Maintaining and growing the Slide Schools and Build Train Race properties as required - Ensuring the integration of web assets related to the program with client brand strategy team. This includes overseeing and being heavily involved with building and maintaining external supplier relationships and managing the creation of factory or in-house special projects - Identifying, selecting and building relationships with custom builders and in house team members (Industrial Design, Product Development, Product Strategy, Genuine Motorcycle Accessories, etc.) on the seamless delivery of Custom factory builds - Working internationally with internal and external shipment and logistics teams to move motorcycles globally ensuring products are in the right place, at the right time - Working with Marketing teams to ensure build readiness for Custom related events - Working closely with Marketing teams to facilitate interactions and support dissemination of images and build information to media outlets - Working with Content teams, including the designated Content Coordinator, to create media materials - Be responsible for the quality and delivery of the logistics, communications and content, in collaboration with the designated PR department and Head of Customs for all global custom builds - Coordinate aspects of the Global Custom Competition(s) - Provide ad hoc coordination and management support to the Head of Custom to ensure delivery on time and in full, of the agreed Custom Build strategy Skills/ Experience/ Qualifications: - Proven experience in the custom motorcycle or custom automotive / motorsport industry - In depth knowledge and / or experience in building custom motorcycles or custom automotive / motorsport vehicles - A strong knowledge of and personal connections with custom builders - Proficiency in coordinating multiple builds at the same time - Proficiency in arranging photo and video shoots - Understanding of logistics requirements for moving custom vehicles - Ability to manage complete projects (inc. build, content, logistics) from start to finish. - Managing people and being an internal influencer - A passion for motorcycles and familiarity with the motorcycle / motorsport market - Excellent team working ethic and an enthusiasm for cross-cultural experiences - Experience of running events would be an advantage/ Events Management - Experience of working in a corporate environment is required Additional Information: - Please note that there is a requirement to work weekends with this role in the Racing Season and travel is required.
