Join our team! We're recruiting for a passionate, proactive and self motivated Contract Hire Manager to join our truck and trailer business, based at our Head Office in Heathrow. Working in conjunction with the Branch Sales Managers in your region, you will be repsonsible for generating new business sales, and will be adept at identifying and securing long term rental, contract hire and finance sales of the truck and trailer fleet. Your main objectives will include: * Playing a leading role in setting, agreeing and delivering area sales objectives, through target customer acquisition, individual negotiations, lead conversions and ongoing review of the area sales performance * Providing regular feedback and market intelligence on customer, competitor and industry activity, offering ideas for further promoting our business interests in your area and beyond * Agreeing action plans to achieve the areas revenue target for contract sales * Updating the CRM system to ensure accurate informaiton is recorded * Achievement of monthly targets To be successful you will: * Outgoing personality and thrive in a high-energy/fast-paced environment * Be commercially aware with the ability to spot sales opportunities * Highly organised and can easily adapt to change * Ability to think on your feet in a conversation- ask and answer questions with ease * A "never stop learning" mentality and can apply it daily * Have excellent planning and organising skills, with the ability to manage your own time * Possess effective communication, influencing and negotiating skills * Proven track record in sales and business development * All candidates will need to demonstrate that they have the Right to Work in the UK. * A clean driving license is also highly desirable.
