Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Connected Car Engineer for a 12-month contract in Cranfield, and the role comes with an attractive contract rate of £27.00 per hour (PAYE, Inside IR35). This role will require being on site 3 days a week and working from home twice a week. As a Connected Car Engineer, you will investigate market issues related to the connected service and provide appropriate solutions to customers. In your first few weeks in this Connected Car Engineer role, you can expect to: Utilise analytical tools to understand the anomalies or trends and find the root cause of the problem, sometimes using SQL queries Use advanced MS Excel techniques including Power Query, Power Pivot and Power Automation to manipulate the cloud data and produce reports Raise incident tickets in the incident management system and track them through to closure Analyse system logs and error logs to find root cause and follow the defined procedure for recovery. Experience in automotive electrical and electronic development relating to vehicle body electronics, navigation or telematics systems, e.g. In aerospace, telecoms or similar.
