Configuration Engineer Since 1943, we have been developing world-leading avionics technology in Edinburgh. We specialise in the provision of multi-role surveillance radars and countermeasure systems, and are looking for a Configuration Engineer on an initial 6 month contract. To be considered for this role you must have experience with Teamcenter (Unified). Hybrid (1 day p/w requirement to attend Edinburgh site) £45ph Inside IR35 Initial 6 months The main area of focus will be on the following activities - Review and verify documentation is suitable for progressing based on set guidelines Control the approval process of new documentation Control the processing of updates to existing documentation Record, distribute and control the documentation received from and sent to external parties Continuous Improvement activities SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Familiarity with Databases, especially PDM/PLM Toolset (Teamcenter). Experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Strong administration skills (preferably in Documentation review and control) Good attention to detail Requires to be security cleared for reviewing Restricted/Official & Secret Documentation TASKS REQUIRED Review and verify documentation is suitable for progressing based on set guidelines Control the approval process of new documentation Control the processing of updates to existing documentation Record, distribute and control the documentation received from and sent to external parties KEY DELIVERABLES Provide configuration management support for the progressing of Project documentation within the RATS sector.
