Compressor Service & Repair Engineer Cleckheaton - Huddersfield Compressor Engineer Are you a fully skilled compressor engineer looking for a new opportunity within a thriving company? Compressor Engineer Role Installation & commissioning of industrial air compressors and equipment. Servicing of all types of air compressor (screw type, hydrovane & reciprocating) and ancillary equipment such as dryers and filtration etc. Attending on site breakdowns and carrying out repairs both mechanically and electrically. Workshop overhauls and refurbishment of industrial air compressors. About you You must hold a relevant mechanical qualification to at least City & Guilds Level 3. Have at least 2 years' experience in a compressor installation or HGV, servicing or repair role. Experience of working with dryers would also be advantageous. You must hold a full UK driving licence and have entitlement to work in the UK. Be physically fit, with plenty of energy. Located within a commutable distance of Liversedge. Be willing to travel. Have a flexible approach to work which is sometimes outside normal working hours. Be confident with customers and be able to discuss problems at all levels. Benefits of the Compressor Engineer role Salary for the compressor engineer: Earn up to £38,000. Based on £35k plus on call payment of £1800 pa (on call one weekend in five), plus overtime.
