Commercial Analyst Mansfield, Nottinghamshire Up to £30,000 (doe) We are currently recruiting for a leading independent manufacturer who are looking for a Commercial Analyst to work in a team of currently seven, reporting directly to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for identifying and cataloguing company information. Overview – The Commercial Analyst is a crucial role within the product development department in developing new parts and ensuring existing parts are accurately and consistently catalogued. We are looking for the commercial analyst to: * Identify new products to bring into range using different methods of analysis. * Accurately catalogue new parts and manage the cataloguing of our existing product range across internal and external programs/platforms. * Manage competitor cross references and marketplace gap analysis. * Provide product support and responses to customer enquiries. * Monitor trends and customer feedback to inform internal and external training materials. * Analyse information/data to make commercial recommendations. * Support product approval activities as and when required. * Any other duties as required. * Using excel and access to an intermediate levels (VLOOKUP and pivot tables) Person requirements for the commercial analyst: The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be a real problem-solver. You will also possess: * Strong IT skills: competence in MS Excel is crucial. * Data analysis experience or a demonstrable ability to identify discrepancies or gaps in data. * Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * The ability to work independently and as part of a team also to learn and adapt quickly. * Experience in the automotive industry and/or of cataloguing or data management is an advantage.
