A successful division of a large global manufacturing group has a new vacancy for a Commercial Account Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for ensuring contract compliance, developing good working relationships with customer and candidates are sought with experience working in an engineering or complex manufacturing environment. Commutable from: Edinburgh, Bathgate, Glasgow, Motherwell, Falkirk, Dunfermline, Perth, Sterling. Salary: £ 32,000 - £ 45,000 p.a. + benefits Suitable for: Account Manager, Contracts Manager, Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, Commercial Account Manager, Commercial Officer, Commercial Lead, Bid Manager, Proposals Manager, Contracts Officer. The Role Build good relationships with customers and liaise with departments accordingly. Ensure customers adhere to contractual terms, escalate any late payments. Generate and share comprehensive budget and rolling forecasts, detailing sales, margin etc. Ensure all customer commercial data is recorded on the system. To report on Commercial opportunities, risks and strategies Attend customer meetings as required. Work in conjunction with planning team to communicate any supply issues. Prepare bids proposal and accurate quotes. The Person Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience evaluating and negotiating commercial contracts. Able to establish and manage strategic relationships. Strong negotiating skills and a good communicator at all levels. Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
