Job Title: CNC/Manual Grinder Location: Wolverhampton Pay Range: Circa £40,(Apply online only) Contract Type: Permanent My client, a leading manufacture specialising in the aerospace and defence industry, is currently seeking a talented CNC/ Manual Grinder to join their team. This role requires an apprentice-trained individual with experience in operating and setting Manual Studer machines (S20/RM250) and CNC machines (Studer S33/S31). Key Responsibilities: Operate and set Manual Studer machines (S20/RM250) and CNC machines (Studer S33/S31) Grind and machine exotic and hardened materials with precision Perform first-off inspections and complete relevant quality documentation Carry out manual land grinding to extremely tight tolerances, with accuracy down to (phone number removed)" Set up and run multiple machines and processes, ensuring efficient and precise production Work within a 3-shift pattern, with a preference for night shift working Ensure compliance with quality standards and aerospace specifications Qualifications & Requirements – CNC/ Manual Grinder A recognised engineering apprenticeship Mate grinding experience required Previous experience within an engineering/manufacturing role within the aerospace industry Good knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling Attention to detail and accuracy and process improvement Using the relevant inspection techniques/equipment to achieve drawing tolerance This role will require the individual to work a shift pattern, including nights and overtime when requested. The role requires the candidate to be self-certified and a quality stamp holder after qualifying period.
