Shorterm group are currently working with a huge aviation manufacturing and production company who specialise in aircraft seating and interior galley inserts. They are looking to take on a CNC vertical milling machinist for their site based in Southend on sea. Candidates must have previous vertical milling experience ideally with Mazak experience. In the role you will be setting and operating Mazak vertical milling machines on 3 axis but also room to move up to 5 axis machines, working with a variety of metals including Steel and aluminium. The machining team run night shifts as and when needed so being open to do a stint of 3/4 months of nights every so often when required would be ideal. Paid at 1.5x. Night shift: 5:30pm - 2:30am Monday to Thursday 3:30pm - 8:30pm Friday. Location: Southend-on-sea shift: 39 hours weekly, 6am - 5pm flexitime (6am - 2pm, 7am - 3pm, 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm) Early Friday finish (half shift) Pay: up to £14ph - £17.72ph.
