CNC programmer - offline Programmer required for this aerospace precision engineering company. This is a hands on type of role where approximately 80% of your time will spent in the CAD room and the other 20% may be on the machines. This permanent opportunity involves producing 3 and 5 axis CNC programs with supporting documentation from both 2D drawings and 3D models. Ideally you will have Hypermill experience but cross training on software will be considered. You will programming often complex high precision parts for CNC Mills and some CNC lathes, resolving any post processor issues, working with the shop floor in proving the program and planning manufacturing methods and operating procedures (this will include any jig and fixture design). You will also help with the continuous improvement initiatives by improving efficiency on any previous programs where possible and reducing scrap. Full job description available.
