We are recruiting for a skilled CNC Turner to a global engineering company in Weymouth, Dorset. Please call Alan for more details. plus shift allowance (if night shift is desired shift) Hours: Day shift: 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 7.30am until 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am until 12.30pm  or Night shift: 46 hours per week Monday to Thursday 6:00pm until 6:00am (basic rate + 33.3% night shift enhancement) Overtime Rate (hours worked between 39-46 per week) Basic Hourly Rate + 33.3% Overtime Rate (hours worked 46 plus per week) Basic Hourly Rate + 50% Sunday Overtime Rate Basic Hourly Rate x2 **Contractors are also welcome to apply.** Semi Skilled Setter Operator roles also available. This role will include: - Set and operate CNC lathes, some of which have live tooling  - Check and inspect own work using inspection equipment (Verniers, micrometres, SPG's and PPG's) - In process inspection to ensure total process control is maintained - Manufacture components from engineering drawings to the correct quality standards - Ensure that information relating to the manufacturing process is accurately recorded, maintained and updated to reflect current process on job cards - Ensure that preventative machine maintenance schedules are strictly carried out - Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times Skills and experience required: - Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent (indentures accepted) - Knowledge of Fanuc control systems - Aerospace industry experience desired - Experience working with engineering drawings and work to instructions i.e. job cards - Ability to set and operate different machine tools - PC literate To Apply for this opportunity please submit an up to date CV and also please feel free to call Alan for more details
