New Recruits Professional Services Ltd are on the lookout for experienced Class 2 drivers for immediate starts to join part of an ever-growing team in the Swindon area on a temp to perm basis. (after 12 weeks you will transfer as a permanent member of the client’s staff). Our client, an expert in food sourcing and supply, ensuring the highest quality of products are created and delivered in an affordable way to their customers. You will be required to help deliver food products that excite their customers and to help find the source that best fits their requirements, exceeding customer technical and quality standards, negotiate and professionally procure goods through cultivating relationships. Job Description * You will be required to Hold a valid class2 full UK licence with no more than 3 points, hold a valid CPC and Digi tacho card. * You will need to have at least 2 years of Class 2 experience and be over 25 years of age for insurance Purposes. * Driving HGV2 vehicles to ensure fast and quality deliveries of food produce and products to customers across the country to Restaurants and other food outlets. * The HGV vehicles will be equipped with electrical Pallet trucks to assist in deliveries and some handballing of items will be required. * This is a physically demanding job so you must be in good health and be physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting involved. * You will be required to work up to 12-hour shifts. * Start times can vary between 20:30pm and 00:00am so some flexibility would be advantageous. Details Depot Location: Swindon. Essentials: Full UK Licence, Class 2(Cat C), Valid Dig Tach card, Valid CPC. Experience: 2 Years Minimum. Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour Shift Pattern: working 4/5 days out of 7 on a rota basis.
