Job Title: Class 2 Driver (Cash-in-Transit - CIT) Location - Slough  Salary - £37500 - £40,000 Shift - Monday to Friday Days  Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Driver with experience in Cash-in-Transit (CIT) operations to join our team. As a Class 2 CIT Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting valuable goods, including cash and other assets, between various locations. Your primary focus will be on maintaining the security and integrity of the transported items, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities: Secure Transportation: Safely operate Class 2 vehicles to transport valuable items, including cash and assets, between designated locations. Implement security protocols to minimize the risk of theft or loss during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's roadworthiness. Adherence to Regulations: Familiarize yourself with and strictly adhere to all relevant transportation and security regulations governing CIT operations. Complete all required documentation accurately and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Security Measures: Work closely with security personnel to implement effective security measures during loading, unloading, and transit. Monitor and report any suspicious activities or incidents that may compromise the security of the transported items. Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and other stakeholders during pickups and deliveries. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a focus on security and efficiency. Emergency Response: Demonstrate proficiency in responding to emergency situations, including but not limited to vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or security breaches. Follow established procedures to report incidents promptly and accurately.Qualifications: Valid Class 2 driver's license. Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver in Cash-in-Transit operations. Knowledge of and adherence to relevant transportation and security regulations. Excellent driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Physical fitness and the ability to handle the demands of loading and unloading valuable items. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Preferred Qualifications: Certification in CIT training programs.
