We’re recruiting a Chief Composite Design Engineer to work for a growing advanced engineering customer of ours in South Oxfordshire. The Company: * Building a new senior management team as they continue to expand. * Composites specialists with a unique product offering, gaining global interest. * Advanced engineering programs, including concept to prototypes. * Additive manufacturing capability. * Plans to move to a new, bigger facility in the near future. The Role: * Hands on Chief Design Engineer position working on multiple projects, offering good variety. * Progression to Head of Engineering on offer as they expand the department. * Predominantly using CATIA, as well as access to FEA, CFD, 3D scanning, 6 axis robots & 3D printing capabilities. The Person: * Excellent knowledge of composite design engineering and manufacturing required. * Sound appreciation of material choices and experience in design for rapid prototyping. * Understanding of automotive/motorsport architecture * Hands on Knowledge of CAD, FEA, and CFD * Fluent with Catia Modelling and project DMU * Proficiency in using 3D scanning, 6-axis robots, and 3D printing * Familiarity with MRP and PLM practices Permanent position but we would not rule out interim / consultancy options, should this be a candidate’s strong preference
