Car & Van Mechanic/Technician A Family run business, Doctor Air Brake is a manufacturer/supplier of Automotive Safety systems & Test equipment used on Heavy Trucks/Trailers and established for over 35 years. We’re looking for an experienced LGV Mechanic with the view to further training on our specialist safety systems. The right applicant would have some of the following experience: * Experienced Car or Van Mechanics with some electrical knowledge. * Have the ability to install accessories & equipment following our training. * Have the desire to progress to a multi-skilled engineer with mechanical, pneumatic and electrical/electronic expertise, along with a reasonable level of I.T. skills? * Have a full UK driving license with minimum 2 years driving experience? * Be self-motivated & possess a positive “can-do” attitude towards solving problems? The Package: Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:30pm (hours may vary but total max 40 hours pw) Salary: £34,000- 42,000 p.a. depending on experience Holiday entitlement: 21 days plus Bank Holidays. Facilities: Van with fuel card, branded work wear and PPE, mobile phone, tablet computer and necessary test equipment
