About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and is on the lookout for a gifted and proactive CAD Design Engineer. Based in Bourne, Lincolnshire, the company is celebrated for its dedication to quality, efficiency, and innovation. Key Responsibilities: * Innovate and develop new products, and enhance existing ones using 2D and 3D CAD (SolidWorks). * Collaborate with tooling, including CNC cutting, mould making, prototype production, and fitting. * Generate detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and precise fitting instructions. * Work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed client requirements. Skills and Experience Required: * Mastery of 2D & 3D CAD, particularly SolidWorks. * Proficiency in producing clear, accurate technical drawings for sales presentations and production. * Experience with lightweight fabricated structures, hinges and fixings, bonding and joining, sheet metal fabrication, GRP moulding, and thermoforming techniques is highly desirable. * Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding time management skills. * A driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
