Red Sky are looking for a Night Duty Manager oversees efficient and effective nightly operations, ensuring team leadership in safety, security, performance, and operational efficiency. This role involves flight allocation, quality checks, and maintaining high standards of service and safety. Role and Responsibilities: Lead the shift team, ensuring they are equipped and informed to meet customer specifications. Allocate and monitor staff for shift flights and stops, ensuring fairness and timely completion of tasks. Conduct quality checks on stops and ensure adherence to HSE guidelines and HAL requirements. Perform bi-weekly audits, manage delay reports, and maintain airline service level agreements. Proactively address service failures with airlines (e.g., British Airways) and maintain compliance with HSE, DFT, and HAL protocols. Ensure effective communication and problem resolution with customers, staff, and external agencies. Maintain the company's image through high standards in work, uniform, vehicles, and customer interactions. Promote service excellence and maintain a clean and organised work environment. Implement and monitor key performance indicators for team members. Manage staffing levels, cover absences, and conduct return-to-work interviews. Oversee staff sign-ins/outs, communication, appraisals, and disciplinary actions. Provide training and address pay queries and concerns. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Report any deficiencies in work systems or equipment that could impact service delivery or safety. Use PPE and equipment as trained and report any issues or training needs. Pay and Shift pattern: £48,672.00 annually Average 40 hrs per week Person Specification Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience, preferably in aviation or customer service sectors. Experience working shift patterns and managing large teams. Proven track record of delivering high customer service standards. IT literate with a full UK driving license.
