Up to £18.60 per hour plus overtime paid at a 20% enhancement on your salary. 39 hour week Monday to Friday (day shift) with flexible start and finish times.  Great career prospects with the UK’s leading bus operator with services connecting more than 100 major towns and cities in England, Scotland and Wales.Our client, the UK’s leading bus operator, are currently looking to hire an experienced Bus/Public Service Vehicle (PSV) Body Repair Technician to manage their Swindon workshop. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as our client's Bus/PSV Body Repair Technician the main focus of your role is to assist in maintaining our client's fleet of vehicles with a fix first time policy. You’ll have the opportunity to complete a variety of jobs from changing a wing mirror to repairing major structural damage caused by RTA. Some of your key responsibilities could include: Manufacturing and fitting body panels. Replacing and repairing interior fixings such as seats, hand poles, and wheel chair ramps. Replacing lino covered plywood flooring. Window replacement. Welding repairs to vehicle structure. Vehicle prep and paint.To be eligible for our client you will need to have a strong background in automotive vehicle body repair, be that bus, HGV, car, plant, or agricultural. A relevant Level 3 NVQ qualification would be highly desirable however this is not essential provided you strong practical "on the job" experience. You will need to be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce a high quality of work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Applicants with an active HGV or PSV driving licence would be highly advantageous however this is non-essential.  What's in it for you?
