JOB TITLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER [INSURANCE] REPORT: Managing Director (Finance and Operations) LOCATION: HYBRID [Home based] STARTING SALARY: £65,000.00 BASIC - £75,000.00 OTE - Company Car [or allowance] - Pension - Other c/o benefits Overview: This leading repairer of minor damage to vehicles has seen phenomenal growth over the past 5 years, with a fleet of Mobile repair vans and a network of repairers, the business is positioned to grow three-fold over the next 5 years. To achieve this, they need an experienced Vehicle Accident Repair Business Development Manager to work with current and new insurance partners. Working alongside the current senior management team, as Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the strategy, leading, generating sales and activity in the Vehicle Accident repair insurance sector by building an extensive network of industry contacts. Accountable for building relevant stakeholder relationships within this customers insurance customer base, cross-selling opportunities are maximized and work collaboratively with other members of the senior management team. As Business Development Manager your key responsibilities will include: * Developing vehicle repair services within the Insurance sector. * Build and maintain a rich pipeline of opportunities, enabling you to forecast accurately, achieve agreed sales targets and maintain predictability of future revenue. * Business development leadership, using your industry knowledge of insurers and experience you will develop and grow this client’s position within the Insurance sector. * Generate marketing campaigns and outreach activities. * Be a trusted advisor for each insurance customer, applying a consultative selling approach leveraging your insurance sector knowledge. * As the Insurance sector lead you will have a detailed understanding of the buying process within this sector and how to position a commercial proposal that meets sales, revenue, and profitability objectives. * Build and develop strategic partnerships within the insurance and vehicle repair sectors. * Be the customers ambassador, actively promoting the client’s vehicle repair services within the Insurance sector. * Creating new sales leads with potential clients in the Vehicle Accident Repair Insurance sector If you are an experienced Business Development Manager within the Vehicle Accident Repair sector, have a great network within the insurance sector, especially around vehicle repairs.
